Find the production before choosing the dub
Search the original movie name and check its year. This helps with Hollywood films and with Malayalam, Telugu or Kannada productions that have translated names. A remake is a separate film, not merely an audio option.
Original language is not an audio menu
The language shown on a catalog card belongs to the original production. It does not list every dub. Open the viewing options and inspect the chosen edition's available audio. A Tamil dub may be offered in one place and absent from another.
Dub or subtitles?
For a group where reading from a television is difficult, dubbed audio may be more comfortable. For viewers who want the original performances, original audio with suitable subtitles may fit better. Check the first scene together before the story begins in earnest.
